My first time meeting Ambree and Michael was for this shoot, but I swear it’s like I had known them for a while! They were just that easy to be around and brought so much happiness my way. And let’s just talk about the FITS!!! Ambree came prepared with 2 of the cutest dresses and made sure Michael looked great too of course 😉 Put these two and their sense of style together, and we had ourselves some amazing photos. Their love was so natural to capture. And Michael was a true MVP for sticking through photos even during his Fantasy Draft! That speaks volumes about the love he has for Ambree lol! I would walk sketchy downtown blocks again tomorrow, if it meant I get to create like this again.

These next photos were shot outside of a Pizza restaurant we passed while walking to the next spot. I thought the mini garage door was a vibe. I’m trying to get better about seeing potential in the mundane! Of course she rocked it and brought my little vision to life.

We ended our session with sunset flash photos outside of the Casinos. The couple had brought a really cute cake to shoot with (had their wedding date put on it and all) but after they set it down during a different set of photos, someone literally stole it off the ground! That is Shreveport class for you lol. But that’s okay! We made the best of it and still got some super cute pics in this location! That’s a wrap on Ambree and Michael. I hope you enjoyed them like I still do!

As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing a wide range of moments—from grand weddings to quiet family gatherings. However, there is one experience that stands out as particularly special: photographing a proposal. The sheer joy, surprise, and love in these moments make them some of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Kevin sent me a DM on instagram a couple of months ago to shoot this proposal for him and his fiance, Katelyn. What he said that stuck out to me most, was that he would have proposed years ago in his living room if she would have let him. But he wanted it to be super special for her. The love was there, but he didn’t know where to begin with executing a seamless proposal. So that’s where we began working together! After location scouting together, lots of calls and texts, and disguising myself in a park, he finally asked the woman of his dreams to be with him forever. And of course she said yes!

We as photographers wear lots of hats, and sometimes that means helping plan a beautiful day even before we know the person we’re doing it for. For me it’s not about just snapping a photo. It’s about building relationships, and serving my clients whole heartedly so that they have a beautiful gallery to cherish for years to come. I was honored to be a part of this special moment for Katelyn and Kevin. They are some of the most down to earth people I’ve worked with and their love shines through every photo we took together. I hope you guys enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Kevin also surprised Katelyn with her family being there to witness it all! They even brought champagne to celebrate 😉

Whether it’s a grand gesture or a quiet, heartfelt moment at home, each proposal has its own unique charm and significance. Being a part of that story is always a privilege. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of this one. Wishing you two a Happily Ever After, and happy wedding planning!

Hey there! I recently had this awesome gig shooting pictures for Summer and Tyler in Downtown Shreve. Let me tell you, it was a blast! Summer and Tyler reached out to me because they wanted to document their elopement vibes one day early! They planned for an intimate, lowkey, wedding ceremony with only their closest family and friends, so they decided that a “day before” session was best fit for them! They wore their ceremony clothes and got to break them in good with me! Let’s hear some commotion for the green dress! Who says you have to get married in white?

We ran around on top of buildings, near busy streets, and just wandered around for the rest of the time, finding cool spots for photos. Dodging crowds and dealing with changing red lights can be a challenging part of shooting downtown, but soooo totally worth it for those beautiful shots!

This location was my favorite form this day! It was giving French Quarter vibes right here in Shreveport. I’ll take that any day!

Would you believe that this is their first legit photo session?! These two were born for the camera, and I’m so glad they came across mine. I’m forever looking forward to hanging with this sweet couple again! Wishing you both so many years of happiness and love.

Take a peek into Kaylyn and Aarons downtown engagement session! Their outfit choices really pulled everything together! They went with timeless and classic looks and wore neutral-toned clothing that looked incredible next to each other. Kaylyn wore a white dress with fun and flirty heels. One detail I loved was the flowy material at the bottom of her dress. So fun!

These two were full of energy and giggly together which makes me so excited to photograph their wedding this year! We left their session feeling super connected and eager for their “best day ever.” 🙂

Not many things beat this rainy day session with Brook and Jacob. Instead of being upset about the conditions, they choose to dance in the rain and I think that says a lot about their love. Thanks to you guys for trusting me even in some crazy weather! I think it was absolutely WORTH EVERY SECOND. It was such an honor to shoot both of them during their sweet engagement period as they await their wedding day! Take a look into this beautiful gallery.

You know those people that you instantly connect with right after meeting? Yep. That was Hanna and Eason for me. From our first hellos and our last goodbyes, I felt a crazy sense of friendship with these two! Relationships are what I love so much about my job. I get to literally make lifelong friends for a living. I’m so incredibly grateful that we all crossed paths, and now I get to document their big day feeling like I have known them for a lifetime. We had multipleeee rain checks but finally found a date we could make work with the weather! I’m very thankful for the flexibility and high spirits throughout the scheduling process. We started their session inside of the cutesie Raw Studio in Shreveport, then ended the evening by running around downtown together!
