I have to admit that shooting this wedding was a bittersweet experience. I met Hanna and Eason around this time last year, and it instantly felt like friendship. I enjoyed working with them through engagements, bridals, and finally their wedding day. They are the type of clients that make work feel like play, photos feel like present time, and friendship feel like family. As a wedding photographer, my role extends far beyond simply capturing moments, it’s about building connections that often evolve into lasting relationships. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing couples transform from clients into family, this journey in particular has been uniquely beautiful. Hanna and Eason motivate me to go above and beyond in my work, because they make me feel that I’m not just a vendor, but a friend who cares deeply about their story. I cherish the trust they placed in me to document this season of their lives, and it’s been a joy to be part of their journey. I invite you to relive the magic and let the beauty of these moments inspire you, because they certainly inspire me!

Ummm I’m not even sure where to start with these because just LOOK AT THEM!! I got to play river rat with Mackenzie and Alex for the evening and I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!!! The love that these two brought to their session shined through every photo. I guided them through lots of fun and loose prompts to bring out true giggles, and I think that’s what I love most about the photos. They didn’t hold back, and now they have photos that truly represent their love and personalities. I urge all of my couples to trust me the way that Mackenzie and Alex did. Because when you let loose, MAGIC happens!

We couldn’t have chosen a better evening to shoot these because the weather was perfect. A comfortable 85 degrees, the sun was peeking through the trees, and the sandbar seemed perfectly formed just for us. All of the factors going into their session set us up just right! I immediately went home and got to editing because of all the goodness that we captured. My hope as you take a scroll through this gallery is that you can feel something through it too.

Talk about post-trip depression… Shooting with Andi in California was straight out of a dream. We ran around on the beach (freezing by the way) and every photo just felt so free and fun. She is such a natural in front of the camera and now has me fully convinced I need to move to the coast 😉 Enjoy some of my favorite photographs from our beach adventure together!

Our story begins with a dynamic duo, Logan and Trinity. With an eagerness for adventure and an undeniable chemistry between them, they ventured into some grassy fields with me, hand in hand, ready to capture their love for the fun, exciting, and undeniable force that it is! I could tell in every single frame how happy they are to be each others “person”. They also have a special skill for trooping through the Louisiana humidity and Mosquitos! From the looks of these photos, you would never be able to tell that we were getting eaten alive in 90 degrees of heat and humidity lol! Take a scroll through this gallery and let it tug on your heart strings! I think you’re going to love them as much as I do.

Some of my favorites from the session are the ones nestled among the wildflowers, fingers intertwined and hearts full.

As we said farewell to the meadow and the wildflowers that had witnessed their love story, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for nature’s beauty, for love’s ability to stop time where it’s at, and for the opportunity to capture it all. I truly am so blessed to do what I do!

There’s a certain magic in photographing families within the cozy confines of their own home. It’s a space where laughter echoes off the walls, where memories are made, and where bonds shine the brightest. Stepping into someone’s home isn’t just about finding the perfect backdrop; it’s about capturing the heart and soul of a family within the familiar embrace of their own environment.

There’s an undeniable sense of comfort that comes from being in familiar surroundings, and it’s this comfort that allows families to relax and be themselves in front of the camera. But the best part? Seeing the love between family members. Whether it’s giggles during a play fight or a sweet moment before bedtime, capturing these feelings is what makes family photos so great.

Emily trusted me to capture their journey from pregnancy, to the first couple months after Olivia was born. She wanted more of a documentary approach to her photos, which made it so easy for me to capture their true personalities. I got to sit back and watch the magic of their family unfold, with minimal direction/prompting. I think that’s every photographers dream! I love to give direction when needed, but this family is so effortless that they didn’t even need it.
